Return policy overview and instructions

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. For in-person orders, you’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can either contact us at info@chicmake.com or apply in your order page after signing-in with the email address when placing order. 

If your return request is approved, you are, at your own cost for non-quality issues, responsible to return the products at your local postal services with a trackable shipping label. We do NOT provide prepaid return labels.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the address provided in the follow-up email after your return request is approved. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. And we may not return the items back to you unless you provide a prepaid shipping labels.

After your return is approved, you'll have 7 days, from the date you receive the return approval notification email, to return the item back to the provided return address. If you missed the deadline, your return case will be closed without further notice.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if we inspect and decide that the returned items don't meet the requirements for refund. When your return request is declined, you'll have 7 days, from the date we notify you the return is not eligible for a refund, to provide us a prepaid return shipping label. If you missed the deadline, the item will be disposed of without further notice.

When reiceiving items in damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products and sales item.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards balance.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds Time Estimate
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

At Chicmake, we strive to get your orders to you as quickly and stylishly as possible. Please review our shipping guidelines below to understand how your package travels from our hands to yours.

1. Processing Times

All orders are processed within 3 business days.

• Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

• If we are experiencing a high volume of orders (such as during a major sale), shipments may be delayed by a few days. We will notify you via email if there is a significant delay in your shipment.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges and delivery estimates for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

4. US & HK Domestic Shipping

All US orders starting 2026AUG10th are dispatched from Chicmake's warehouse in Glenhead, NY. 

• State Sales Tax Regulation: Depending on your shipping address and Chicmake's NEXUS status, you might be required by law to pay sales tax in certain states.
  

All HK orders are dispatched randomly from Chicmake's warehouse in Guangzhou, China and Tuen Mun, HK SAR.

5. International Shipping

Currently, Chicmake ships to international addresses in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea.

Orders are dispatched ramdomly from Chicmake's 3 global warehouse depending on the best possible route.

• Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Chicmake is NOT responsible for any customs and taxes applied to international orders. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

6. Damaged or Lost Items

Chicmake is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

• Pro-tip: Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

7. Incorrect Address Disclaimer

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address entered is correct. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping time, so there is always a small window to correct an incorrect shipping address. Please contact us immediately at info@chicmake.com if you believe you have provided an incorrect address.

Please note that our primary warehouse is located in NY, U.S.A and Guangzhou, China. All international orders outside the U.S.A and Hong Kong are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. This means your order total does not include local taxes, VAT, or customs duties, which may be assessed by your country's customs authority upon arrival.

What this means for you:

• Ex-Tax Checkout: We only collect the retail price of the garment and the shipping fee at checkout.

• Customs Clearance: Once the package enters your destination country, the local courier (such as DHL or FedEx) will contact you directly via text or email to collect any mandatory import taxes or administrative clearance fees.

• Final Delivery: These charges must be paid directly to the shipping carrier before they can release and deliver your package.

As the importer of record, settling these local fees is the recipient’s responsibility. Chicmake CANNOT predict these exact amounts or issue refunds for packages refused or abandoned due to unpaid customs fees. We recommend checking with your local customs office for specific thresholds and rates.
